One word that comes to mind when we hear Whiplash is "motivation."

He doesn't stop recording and releasing a product.

Australia isn't known for being at the fore front of hip hop, but its apparent Whiplash isn't concerned with the status quo.

His newest mixtape is "The Whip-Mix Tape" and it's hosted by Tha Advocate.

We actually saw this tape floating around the net and being pushed by mixtape monsters, "Coast 2 Coast."

Tha Advocate brings alot of intensity in the intro as it leads into Whiplashes remix of Wiz's "Black and Yellow".

Whip shows a more commercial side when he sprinkles some Aussie flavor on "Airplanes Pt. 2."  Nowerdays alot of mixtapes are done on original beats and even tho this is a remix project Whip still squeezes out a few original cuts.

"Clap On" shows Whiplash at one of his hungriest points. Not too mention "Spaceship Swag" shows whip at his most playful.

(Side Note- Those cuts were off of Whiplashes "Losing Control 3" album.) One of the gems on this project was a bonus song. Hearing Khaki Blue and Tha Advocate collab on "Gun Runner" was interesting.

It's a story telling track at its finest. In the song Khaki plays a big time gun runner and Advo plays the part of a guy in need of some extra protection due to some local drama.

Whiplash makes a perfect fit the to remix of "All She Wrote" (TI and Eminem). It's on this song you hear a more aggressive confident Whiplash as he spits, but the lyrics didn't match the intensity as he kept saying "fuck this" in a repititious state.

Some people might not be too happy with Whiplashes remix of "2 Of Amerikaz Most Wanted"... it's one thing to rock on more of the main streams more disposable music, but rocking on a classic beat, even if paying homage, may be taken out of context and can be deemed offensive in the public eye.

Whiplash brings a remix tape for the summer and that move in itself might be a check mate in his career struggles. When you live in Australia and Hip Hop isn't the heartbeat of the city rocking on a more popular song might you get that exposure you need locally and will bring you up on many search engines all over the place.

We respect Whiplashes ambition and with a little fine tuning he might ready for the cross over. Again if whip focuses on crafting his lyrics a little tighter, rather then freestyling them, then that will bring him up a few numbers. This mixtape is a must download  ..hit the link below..
