The fan, or thief, pleaded not guilty to the charges. Lil' Wayne was on a video set in Glendora, CA and 20-year-old Marcus Negrete had a plan to not only meet him, but gain his personal favor.

On paper, it sounds like it would work, but Marcus made one mistake. He snuck onto the set of the video shoot and proceeded to steal some of Weezy's personal belongings like a laptop, wallet, Louis Vuitton purse, and a pair of NBA All-Star tickets.

The plan was to return the belongings to Wayne and get some one-on-one time, thinking Wayne would be grateful for returning his stuff - but none of the items Marcus stole was Wayne's.

As with almost every electronic, the laptop had GPS and the police had no problem tracking Marcus down. Plan backfired and instead of looking like a hero in Wayne's eyes, he's just a thief...
