The biggest and most successful hip hop tour in the world the Rock the Bells festival is heading out on tour in August and is bringing some of the most influential hip hop artists ever. Its going to be a huge tour and Rock the Bells tickets are already going fast. Not only will the Rock the Bells festival bring together artists and fans for some great sets, but this year a new twist has been added. Four of the Rock the Bells headliners will be performing their seminal albums in their entirety. That’s right, at the 2010 Rock the Bells festival you will get to hear artists perform their entire album, in many cases the first time they’ve done so live. Your Rock the Bells tickets will let you hear the Wu-Tang Clan perform “Enter the 36 Chambers,” Rakim perform “Paid In Full,” Krs-One will bring “Criminal Minded” to life, and Slick Rick will showcase “the Great Adventures of Slick Rick.”

There are just four stops on this year’s Rock the Bells tour, and while its too bad there are less shows, the flip side is you know the artists will bring it hard for each set. Check the entire Rock the Bells schedule for all the details. The first Rock the Bells concert is at the original home of the tour, the NOS Events Center in Los Angeles, California on Saturday August 21. From there the tour shifts to the second west-coast show in San Francisco’s Shoreline Amphitheater on Sunday August 22, 2010. The tour then travels to the east coast for the two shows. The first east coast Rock the Bells tour is on Saturday August 28, 2010 at New York’s Governer’s Island. And the next day the tour goes to the Capital, with a show in Washington, DC at the Merriweather Post Pavilion on Sunday August 29, 2010. This is going to be a great show so get those Rock the Bells tickets right away. Guerilla Union, which organized the Rock the Bells Tour, are also behind some of the most successful festivals in hip hop, including Cypress Hill’s SmokeOut Festival and the Paid Dues Independent Hip Hop Festival.
