It's not often you hear of hiphop in Switzerland. How was it you first got introduced to hiphop?
I know that Switzerland is a small land but now the things move. For my introducing into Hip Hop, my first concerts and the first albums that I bought was for me the beginning of it all! And for sure, my homies opened the door for me!
For those that dont know, what made you start KLH Music?
You know now there are a lot of Bling Bling Mc's, us we're authentic and we work hard to develop to stay real!! But the first reason is that I wanted to do my own shit!!
Where did the name come from?
One day my G came to my place and I told him that I founded KLH for the name of our shit and he told me : "Ok! now KLH means Kamikaze Lyrical Hors-jeu" (in french) but in english it means:
Kamikaz lyrics out of game!! Fight against fake!! and I said: "Yeeahh! Let's do it!!"
What music services does KLH music offer?
Actually we offer booking service for shows and I interconnects inernational artists like Termanology, M.O.P, AZ, Kurtis Blow, Just-Ice and more...
But the most important is that I manage Jr Bud and DaSolo! Keep in touch for those guys!! 2011 is for them!! The last thing is that I'm the Book agent in Europe and UK for Amun-Ra, Sputnik Brown, Block McCloud, MR 44, Dox Boogie and Matt Maddox and we start the 2011's tour of Kurtis Blow.
Your resume features artists from Switzerland, The U.S. and Europe.... what country has the best hiphop sound in your opinion?
Ok! For the level of production I must admit that I like Yougoslavia, Russian, Italian, German Hip Hop sound and of course U.S. Hip Hop sound too because everything comes from there!
What would you list as your most major accomplishments to date?
I can't say that I have one major accomplishment to date! All collaborations for klh music, booking or managment it's'a real pleasure for me anytime. I like it.
Have you ever been to the United States?
No...
Most of the people reading this are from the U.S.... can you tell them what hiphop in Switzerland is like?
Rap in Switzerland is not as important as your place because we're a really small country so it's difficult to drill but we're still here doing our shit!!
What is the hiphop scene like over there compared to on US soil?
It's just incomparable!!
What made you wanna get into HipHop?
When I went to a house of troubled youth, I start to listen Hip Hop music and especially the lyrics. That's the reason! The beginning of the story..
Who were your influences to get into music?
ONYX, ODB, LOST BOYZ, NAUGHTY BY NATURE, DAS EFX, EPMD, you know what's the real Hip Hop!!
What projects have you released to date?
The first project is one track on Coast2Coast.com mixtape (4'000 times downloaded the first day),The second project is an international mixtape yet downloaded on www.klh-music.com,Then two beats produced by Jr Bud on Underground's mixtape "Unxpected",And finally one track on the mixtape "Digital Dynasty" with Jr Bud and Mr 44.
Any new projects coming out? Any features?
In 2011 we're gonna work hard for my man DaSolo!! We have everything to succeed so we just do things you know!!
