Where did the allias "The Watts Up Kid" come from? It came from everything I used to say. I'd say watts up... this is watts up... than the fam was like we gonna call him the watts up kid. So I ran with it.

What made you want to pick up a mic and get busy? I realized selling drugs wasn't the only way to shine...... so I picked up the mic..and I showed the real me!
Can you shed some light on your legal troubles of the past? Tell us what happened? I was out in the city doing my thang with my team. People started to hate. They didn't want to see a young nigga shine so hard. So they got to telling on me. I got crossed by my so called friends.
Do you feel like an artist needs a past similar to yours if they are really gonna make gangsta music? Bottom Line-- If you out there spitting gangsta shit you better had been thru it. Because niggas will test and pull ya hoe card.
Is music from Kanye West, Common and Kid Cudi accepted in the hood? I accept it in the hood, because good music is good music. I cant speak for others.
What made you write a song like "Pain and Life" ? I wrote pain and life because I thought this color shit was over with. Also, I already didn't get no jobs because of my tattoos ..and that's some bullshit.

How would you describe your style of hip-hop? My style of hiphop is real raw. I don't rap lies because it's not good to my fans.
