Today we are chilling with a new up and coming rapper named Isaiah.
He has a unique style and he is hailing from one of the realest places in the United States.
Sit back and listen to one of Detroit's most promising new acts. Lets get this cracking right away.
Usually rappers are concerned with street talk and are anti establishment.
What makes you want to take a stand and talk about the uplifting topics you do?
Honestly, it’s my relationship with Jesus. I’m a believer and the music I make can’t contradict my beliefs. Detroit rappers are always different in style.
Unlike California or New York rappers you guys have such a different dynamic. You can take Eminem, Royce, Proof (R.I.P.), Trick Trick and they all are unique. And you def. fit into the comparison with your voice, flow and sound.
Why is it that Detroit artists all sound different? I don’t think it’s the city, it’s the individual. Any artist real about themselves and who they are will more than likely have their own personal style.
The country has been going through a borderline Recession/ Depression for years now. Detroit is one of the worst, if not the worst, hit cities in this mess. How has this effected you as an on the come up artist?
It has made the come up that much more difficult. I still believe that anything is possible and my faith will never allow me to give up on myself or on life. Can you tell us first hand some of the things you have seen change since the recession in the D? The collapse of the auto industry really created the down-spiral of the city. A lot of people lost jobs, cars, homes, and most importantly hope. What makes you stick to your guns with making uplifting music rather then "bling rap" or "street talk"? I think my music is very well connected to the streets. But the money talk or bling lifestyle is a life I’m not living. If I was wealthy I still wouldn’t make songs about it because I wouldn’t want people to feel inferior because they don’t have the financial security I have. And really after a while it gets corny and redundant making songs like that.

If you had to compare your sound and Detroit hip hop to another form of hip hop which would it be? Other than my own city I think my style would be more parallel to a city in New York or New Jersey.
When did Isaiah realize this is what he wants to do with his life? At least about 10 years ago.
On your album, "Undadog 2", you boldly bridged the gap between both worlds of being a coinscence rapper in Detroit. Do you feel more artists should follow the formula you are? I would like them too but I’m not here to convert anyone to follow in my footsteps. I gotta be me and I guess at the end of the day they gotta be them.
We don't do this often but the homie Advo heard your album and he puts a co-sign on it .. so with that said .. can you plug your link where the HipHop.org fans can purchase it? Most of the songs can be heard on Jango.com under my old moniker Zeke. The album, “Undadog: Chapter 2”, can be purchased at http://www.cdbaby.com/cd/zeke1
Do you think it's weird that in alot of hip hop that if you have a good life and college degree that you are looked at as "soft"? I think that’s one of the silliest things I’ve ever heard in my life. I believe struggle makes character. But the entire notion of downing someone for being educated is just ridiculous. Sometimes I think maybe if I got my education I wouldn’t have gone through some of the struggles I’ve been through in my life span.
Can you tell us what exactly I'm Aware Ent. (is and stands for? First and foremost I’m Aware was birthed from my full name which is Isaiah Ware. The name also has dual meaning in a sense that I’m aware of my situation, I’m aware of my surroundings, and I’m aware of the ways of this world. So all the readers out there your last name doesn’t have to be Ware for you to be Aware. Ya know?
Got it …Do you have any other artists on the label other then yourself? I have other artists that I connect with but none of them are contractually obligated to me.
What is coming next from Isaiah? If God willing the completion of “Undadog 3 :The Final Chapter”. And hopefully progress and success.
Out of all your music which song is the most vulnerable and introspective of them all? As of right now I would say “Step By Step” and the “Show Goes On“. As well as some of the new material I’m currently working on.
When you wrote "Real One", was your agenda to secure a Detroit fanbase or reach the masses? Of course the ultimate goal is to reach the masses. But honestly when I wrote the song I was just speaking from the heart and being real as I always do.
Speaking of "Real One", you have that song coming out on the Ballerstatus.com/ Tha Advocate compilation, "Digital Dynasty- The Album", you were featured on the cover of the Michigan publication Pure Xposure, and not to mention appearing all over the internet as of 2011. With all this increased recognition are you aiming for a major label deal or trying to secure your company as an indy label?
I think I would like to have a major label deal but having my own company is something I’ve always dreamed of. Maybe a major label deal will help me get that off the ground.
Here at HipHop.org we like to ask our features some questions that really are out of the norm. We do this because it gives the fans a broader outlook on you. So lets get it cracking ....
Do you think TI deserved to go back to jail for the drug possession (while he was out on parole)? I really don’t want to speak on TI because I really don’t know that mans personal situation.
What are your feelings on the legendary DJ Mister Cee being arrested for having sex with another MAN in public? No comment
What are your feelings towards homophobia in hiphop? Of course I’m a firm believer in that homosexuality goes against the word of God.
What are your favorite sports teams? Honestly at this moment I don’t have any favorite sports team right now. Right now Floyd Mayweather Jr. is my favorite sports figure.
Is Obama doing a good enough job? In my opinion yes. I’m extremely proud of Obama. I think he’s articulate and very well spoken. And I like the way he carries himself.
Would you re-vote for him in 2012? Nothing personal against Obama but I have never voted for anyone. And at this stage in my life I don’t plan on it.
Howard Stern ,Star and Bucwild or Charlamagne The God? I honestly wouldn’t know..
Back To The Norm.......Name 1 song you've done that will have the HipHop.org viewers hooked!? Probably “The Show Goes On”.
