 A native of Ponce, Puerto Rico, MC has been spitting rhymes and mixing beats since he was a child. He prides himself in being a bilingual lyricist, rapper and producer; a skill that is rare in the industry. Drawing inspiration from his personal life experiences; his heart, soul and love for music shines through in every verse of every track of his last 2 albums and one mixtape.
Master MC has participated in a number of projects, compilations and appearances. Most notably, he participated in two compilations- Lowrider Super Show 2002 and the Lowrider Legends Tour 2003; both of these were for the music label Thump Records, which was distributed by Universal.
In 2006, he signed a ringtone deal with the company The Nickels Group, Inc. MC is also credited for performing on the show Pegate Al Corillo -a television show based in Puerto Rico.
His songs have been played by DJ Felipe Duran on Mix 107.7 FM and on the House radio station Galaxia 1380 AM by DJ Sixto One. Currently, MC is back in the studio working on tracks for his sophomore album, due out sometime next year.
Master MC is a man on a mission. His ultimate goal is to expand his music across the globe. He also hopes to eventually crossover to English Hip-Hop and make his mark there. Just like any element; Master MC is a phenomenon with a fundamental nature that can’t be broken down into a simpler substance by any means.MC's has being working with producer scotty Gutierrez for Gute productions.
Also MC has being collaborating with latin hip hop underground artist from Chile,Peru,Venezuela. MC is just a lion with a lot of hunger in this jungle and has a lot to offer to the music genre Latin hip hop.Master MC even had the blessing to work with actor/rapper LiL j doing a club track for the up coming movie "Kill Kattie Malone".MC also did the movie scoring for the indie film "Superbadazz" which is out now everywhere.This is not you normal act this emcee has alot of dedication and talents...
Tell our readers, where your from..? I was born in ponce pr but when i was 8 years old my mom decided moved to union city nj where i discovered my ability to freestyle rap.then when i was 15 went back to puerto rico where i started getting into the spanish rap side in my delivery and lyrics mixing then into spanglish rhymes and focusing into writing more and learning the bigness side of the industry. but now i reside in bridgeport ct where i own my own studio and we make all this great music with that only unique style that master mc knows how to do it.
Where did your name originate from? I went through different names in many stages in my life onto one day master mc came to mind cause i wanted to be that emcee to master that unique style of music im traying to bring to the whole world.
What is a typical day like for you? It all depends what i got in the agenda i still have a normal job and after work i hit the studio in my house to make music and create stragedys to take over this music game.go to do shows where ever they get booked we go represent.

Other then music what do you do to make that paper? I still got a normal life with a 40 hour a week job to take care my 3 boys which i love to death..everything i do is for them with my career..
When did you first become introduced to hip-hop? I got into hip hop at a early age i don't remember what age i was but i bought my first hip hop cassette ll cool j walking with a panther that was my first step to this genre of music.
Coming up who were your influences in music? Biggie,slick rick,big pun,2pac,wu tang clan,ream, and the names go on even spanish music
What artists/people in your life intrigued you to get into the business? I decided to get into music when i use to see my crew member freestyle thats when i day i just came of the top of my head with some hot rhymes and was like i could do this and i started getting more serious during the years pass i got more more into getting to the stage im in rigth now…
How would you describe your style? My style is a mix of spanish and english rhymes i could make a track complete in english or in spanish depending on how i feel or just a spanglish hot hip hop track my voice and my flow is unique and very different than any artist out and thats what makes me stick out from everyone else.
What artists are you currently working with? I just worked with producer scott guitierrez from gute productions where he ask to collaborate in a rack for the movie '' kill kattie malone'' where actor/rapper lil j acted in the movie and also was gonna be part of the track '' it on tonite'' is a very hot track that soon will be out..
Who would you enjoy to work with? I enjoy working with everybody i gotta feel their style and what their doing with their movement and if the paper is rigth lmfao….
Tell us about your current projects? Right now im producing my 3rd solo album which the tittle i don't wanna say its gonna be a surprise for all my fans im also working with underground artist from chile,peru,venezuela,mexico just spreading my music like a virus.
What one reason would your fans say separates you from the norm? Im a very humble person i like to talk to everybody, im just a nice person i like to talk to my fans on all my social sites and they all know that the music i make is real cuz they know most of the story of my life and they relate to me as a person and artist.
What shows do you currently have lined up for this summer? We got a compilation cd with ct artist and all over coming out this spring 2011 with a promotion tour where we gonna be hitting a few clubs in different states,ill be promoting my single "don't get it twisted''
What would you say makes you different than the average recording artist…? I think what makes me different from the average is that im dedicated to my music and im willin to be their and sacrifice myself to leave a mark in my music.alot of artist want it but not a lot of them want to put in the work and the days of effort.
What's currently in your CD/MP3 player? Im listening to all types of genre of music I could have some hip hop,rap,r&b reggaeton, Spanish rap even rock I have a big background on different musical styles I like to listen im all ears for anything that good and has a meaning.
What’s your formula, how do you come up with the concepts for your material? My formula is a mix of feelings and life I like to write what im feeling in the moment and I could be anytype of mood happy,angry,sad, or just a storys about my experience as a men father,emcee, and being a human my concepts are based on the reality of my life..
Where do you see yourself in the industry in the next 5 years? In the next 5 yrs well right now im traying to do all the promotion I can with all my work to be able in a few years from now I have added more to my resume as a artist im traying to be a legend and leave a lot of music behind.i expect to be in a bigger stage as a latin hip hop artist. And take our music global..
Where do you see the industry in 5 to 10 years? The way I see the music industry going everyday theirs more independent artist doing their own thing artist don’t need labels no more with this technology artist can do it all by them self.and make more money I want like a better change for in this industry and that all artist benefit from it.and labels should stop being lazy and get back to arstist development. Now they want the artist to do all the work so they wont have to do all the hard work if it keeps going like that major are not gonna exist anymore because you they let run the show and we gonna keep doing it our self. But if I get offerd a deal im gonna take a look and make sure it is on my convenience and im winnin and keeping a lot..
What final words do you have for our community and the prospects of hip hop? Hip hop have changed during the years and we got diferents styles and artist coming up from different states citys country repping hip hop.but hiph op is not the same and it will never be the same but we still can remember people what it sounded like and where it came from hip hop did a evolution nobody expect it but our generations are growing and are very different when we was coming up in the this game but we just gotta keep real and don’t forget the realness of it.. one love…
