Cyrus is a Philadelphia artist who stays in the indie lane,

underground behind the curtain. He is a jack of many trades.

A emcee and producer who compiles flame behind the keyboards for many artists in and outside of PA.

Born in Philadelphia in August of 1979, raised by one of his family members..

Cyrus adopted the street life and was blessed with the ability to make his words wake you up.

The streets listened, Cyrus's tracks provide a form of escape from oppression and let your mind escape whatever the conditions and remind you that we still need change.

His family instilled in him knowledge and he picked up just that. Separated from his 2 brothers he influenced his younger brother into hip hop.

To let hip hop be his guide, as a method to keep him out of trouble. Cyrus's family is full of musical talent, his mid brother is also involved in music and entertainment as well.

Cyrus also dabbled in DJing in the mid 90s. His out spoken words come from the movements of his life in a unsteady home.

Not many people can take a negative situation, turn it into something positive and make a creative "right" out of a bad situation. Cyrus has done just that and HipHop.Org is about to share that with you.

Where did your name originate from? It's a name that everyone has but not everyone in hip hop . That name my homie that died a yr ago gave me the name it has a reason behind me chosen that name.

What is a typical day like for you? Majority of the time I spend on making beats self promotion, making tracks, reading

Other then music what do you do to make that paper? With the state of the world I do odd jobs on the side in the street and currently looking on going to college for a better job

When did you first become introduced to hip-hop? Since 1994 and present doing cyphers at philly parks and corners

What artists/people in your life intrigued you to get into the business? Some of the old school artist made me look at the business as just that business encouraged me to go indie

Who would you enjoy to work with? KRS ONE /NAS .anybody who has the power in they heart to uplift humanity and our people

Tell us about your current projects? Currently working on a mixtape revolutionary lite

What one reason would your fans say separates you from the norm? I have a style that gets deep in the problems of the ghetto I tell u whats in your mind and who's tapping into your mind

What shows do you currently have lined up for fall? At this time I only have my tracks to get in tune with I need new material

What would you say makes you different than the average recording artist... I refuse to keep talking about murda and drugs its a time when we leave the streets in the streets because there is outside sources that don't want us to live or eat so we need to hush our mouths

What's currently in your CD/MP3 player? Soul classics man for real and old school hip hop anything that's pass 2004 I refuse to listen to no good music anymore

What’s your formula, how do you come up with the concepts for your material? Life gets to crazy I thank and write or sometimes I look at a subject of anything and write

Where do you see yourself in the industry in the next 5 years? Doing movies

Where do you see the industry in 5 to 10 years? Expanding to other countries maybe paying the artist there fair shares

If you had to choose one track that will have HipHop.Org readers hooked, which track would it be? This ain't paradise.beat by 2deep.from shadowville productions
