Is also a national promoter, producer, and audio engineer which he has been since the age of 14.

At the age of 15 he was seen in a segment of nightly news with Tom Brokaw for his work in the recording studio..

With the Manchester Craftsman's Guild and the City of Pittsburgh for working on public service announcements.

At 17 Tjuan left the music world not to return again until late 2006 when he decided to form Arucca-Flyboy.

As a recording artist Tjuan brings his own spin on things to the table, after attending college,playing ball and being expelled for hustling on campus.

(which they never could prove) Tjuan traveled the country doing exactly what he was accused of until he was ratted on.

Luckily at that point he had a few bucks and endless passion and drive to set the foundation for his career and also the careers of his AFB label mates.

Since 2006 Tjuan has been a finalist for numerous awards in music and in businessn& has won a few.

Tjuan has headlined or been the co headliner in Pittsburgh, Philly, Harrisburg, Ohio, West Virginia, Alabama, New Jersey, South Carolina, and a few other states. 

Tjuan has worked with Bone Thugs n Harmony, Lil Flip, Project Pat, Pittsburgh Penguins, Young Buck, Sammie, Bricksquad, Kebo Gotti and many more.

Tjuan has worked with hundreds of underground artist on many levels, doing everything from producing,ghost writing all the way to booking shows and promotion.

On a daily basis Tjuan proves why he has been a factor!

Tell our readers, where your from.. what's your home-state, country ? Pittsburgh, Pa

Where did your stage name originate from ? I have always been Tjuan (TWON) and at this point i been a factor in many things for awhile. Tjuan Benafactor

What is it like for you as an artist day to day typically ? A ton of calls,emails,and text coming in and going out. Listening to diff instrumentals and constant promotion and networking.

Other than music what do you do to pay the bills ? This is it for me. At this point all my money comes from music. I’m just not a mc though, I produce and do various things with in the music industry. I think to be an effective artist you need to do more than just make music and perform you need to atleast understand the biz & people in general.

What are some of your hobbies and extracurricular activities you enjoy ? Smoking loud,smoking loud, and smoking sum more loud. I’m a gamer too i own a xbox360,ps3 & a wii. my gamer tag is imanox or tjuanbenafactor. Madden and Call of Duty expert

What year did you first become introduced to hip-hop ? I have always been around hip hop

How would you describe your presence in the studio when your laying down tracks, do you consider yourself versatile when it comes to a wide range of styles, or do you stick to a certain method when it comes to your delivery and execution ? I feel i’m versatile. I’m different on every track, my delivery, my voice, my energy, my emotion. It depends on the track and what God puts in my head

What Artists, Disc Jockeys, Producers are you currently working with? I’m always working with alot of different cats. Right now i’m working with Project Pat, Stunna Quad Cold Folks & DJ Don’t Play all of (SODMG), J-Haze, Ghuddah Gudda, DJ Bankroe, DJ Motown,Treezy(Inerscope Producer) Clock Da Vigga, Neo Soo Wavy off the top of my head

If you had the pick of any artist(s) to spit a 16 bar verse on a collaborative track what artist(s) would you choose and why ? Jadakiss he is nasty. He is underrated and i haven’t worked with anyone in his camp yet.

Tell us about your most recently released project and your current project that's in the works, when is it set for release and what agencies are you choosing for promotion and distribution ? All my music is distributed through Island Defjam. We just dropped “Decoy” introducing my artist Kane Costi.I have I’m dropping my mixtape “Quantum Leap” hosted by DJ Don’t Play first week of April. We also have the Showoff Gang Single “I’m A Boss” featuring J-Haze,Ghuddah Gudda, myself and Jay-Z dropping next month. Its a crazy track. I have Lady Shack & Overdatop Promotions, Bigga Rankin, Movement Mixtape Series,Richporter Mixtape series, Ni Marketing and more already promoting or will be promoting some of these releases.

What one reason would your fan base express that separates you from the normal mainstream recording artist ? I I’m not worried about opinions or feelings i just tell it like it is regardless. #Benafactor

What’s your formula when you come up with the concepts for your tracks, when you hit the studio do you record your material off the top or do you use notes as a reference ? I always come up with everything on the spot

Where do you see yourself and your career in the industry in the next 5 years ? Working on varies things and doing motivational speaking

Where do you see the industry in 5 years ? Hopefully progressing and moving more as a positive unit in inner city and urban communities
